Downton Noventum Service Management Consultants in association with Oracle would like to inform you about the Service Transformation Workshop, a very prestigious event. These events have proved to be very popular and are by invitation only, it would be great to have you with us. The following gives you details on the content, timing and location as well as the benefits of the workshop and how to register your interest.


Our worldwide research programme has highlighted that although huge quantities of data may be available to a business, it is necessary to manage the information so that it can be disseminated in a useful form, on demand. Suppliers have always assumed that providing variety would encourage customers to buy.

Service Transformation has created a genuine concept of choice and it is the choices that differentiate the customer: the customer differentiates themselves through the choices they make. Providing effective communication quickly and efficiently between the business and the customer is key. The interface can provide insight into the changing needs of the customer.

In the current environment, it is a complex task for all aspects of the customer interface to be accurately informed. Many businesses struggle due to poorly or non-integrated systems which become rapidly useless when trying to deal with a situation that is escalating out of control.
Transforming the service operation to deal with issues immediately is expected by customers so during the workshop, we will focus on the following issues:


• Delivering a rapid response: this process is given a number of labels, including: concurrent information channels, immediate response; or synchronised actions


• Cost effective execution: only achievable if the information is presented instantaneously and the systems can apply the information into immediate action, to manage customer expectations


• Real Time information: the challenge is no longer about capturing or storing data but about managing and acting immediately on the information that is available


• Solutions available for the new environment: In most instances, current technological solutions are still too heavily focused on operational efficiency and not effectiveness

• Full data management: They need to provide more than just efficient analytics and achieve full data management and real time responses to support the increasingly complex service environment requirement for full integration across the whole business

We will discuss the findings of the research done with individual companies; discuss strategic issues, exchange ideas, experience and best practices.
